When Beth Feldman asked me if I wanted to contribute to her book “See Mom Run” I jumped at the chance. I already enjoyed reading Beth Feldman’s posts at her website Role Mommy and on the New York City Moms Blog. She asked me to write tech humor, which is something that I experience on a regular basis. My chapter is called “Night of Horror, i.e. The Night the Wireless Went Out” about a night were all the power went out in my house (shriek!). I won’t give away too many details from my chapter, other then just picture a tech obsessed mom without access to any power in her house and a smartphone that is just about to run out of juice.
I knew some of the writers already, but had the most fun attending the See Mom Run book reading in Los Angeles last month. Seeing the other moms reading their chapters helped me remember that I am not the only mom with a “harried” life and using her good sense of humor to keep things in perspective (and just laugh). And that is what I did when I read See Mom Run book – laughed and laughed.
That’s awesome. Congrats on being part of the book.
